Summer Berry Cream Cheese Danish Braid

This berry danish is what every other danish wishes it could be. While danish can often seem intimidating, we’ve simplified the process so you still get plenty of flaky layers, but without all the added time and labor. The key is to make the dough the night before you plan on serving, then it’s quick and easy to assemble and bake. Full Recipe: https://ift.tt/2KrdphH Notes The danish is best enjoyed the day it is baked. Take care not to overwork the dough. Otherwise you’ll have a tough pastry. While you can speed up the process a bit with this quick-danish pastry method, the more time you allow the dough to refrigerate, the flakier the pastry will be in the end. So, if you have the time to let the dough rest, do it! To make the egg wash: in a small bowl add the egg and heavy cream. Whisk to combine. Reserve until ready to use. https://ift.tt/2YpY9vk Bob's Red Mill August 04, 2019 at 09:12AM
